If youth is the hope of our future, then we have to create a better future for our hope.

I'm really excited about getting new knowledge on non-formal methods of education regarding topics such fighting youth unemployment and preventing racism and intolerance among youth. Moreover, I really want to know how young people can start implementing their business ideas in real life.

I'm sure that I`ll be able to share the knowledge on entrepreneurship I've gained during conducting lessons at English-language summer camps with active young Ukrainians. Moreover, I have no doubts that this information will be extremely useful for those Ukrainians I'm working as an Ambassador of EducationUSA.

Please describe your knowledge and experience on entrepreneurship.

At the age of 15 I started being really into the entrepreneurship. At that point my sister and I decided to open our small online store. We had it for more than a year and it was pretty successful - at least, that's what I thought as a 15-years old girl :)

While studying at a Fayetteville State University I took an 'Entrepreneurship and Creative Thinking' class that gave me an opportunity not only to know more about this area but also to work on my own business idea.

Currently I'm looking for ways to get more knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship, cause I believe that if intentions of a person who owns a business are good, it can truly change the world.

What's your motivation in taking part to this TC (Training Course)?

It’s should be noted, that four years of war in the Eastern Ukraine made Mariupol a center of internally displaced persons (IDP) concentration. According the statistics, 544,8 thousand persons of IDP were registered in Donetsk region in February 2017. The City Council takes care of living conditions of refugees in general, but no one is trying to solve adaptation problems of young people of displaced institutions and to help them to join to student fraternity. I think, education organizations and youth workers should help to university graduation internally displaced youth able to enter into an independent life without a post-war syndrome. Every internally displaced persons or refugees face a number of problems that are in all areas of human life: economic, legal, social, domestic, organizational and psychological. There is no clear state mechanism aimed to help resettlement people to adopt to the new environment. Thus, the provision of equal opportunities for youth from areas of military conflict, contributes to the development of a fully-fledged harmonious personality, an active member of the world community.
One of my scientific interests is a development of Entrepreneurship in Ukraine and other countries. That's why I would like to take an active part in the program Erasmus+ Training Course “ACTIVATE”.  I want to solve the following tasks within this program:
-to compare foreign experience of youth entrepreneurship with Ukrainian peculiarity;
-to implement non-formal methods of education in my lectures;
-to promote the introduction of inclusive communication tools for the development of society
- to create training course for migrants “How can I start my business”. Also I would like to improve my academic mobility, to improve language proficiency, to gain a competitive advantage in field of science and education, to improve the image of Ukraine in the world community, as well as to strengthen of international relations.
I will be very grateful to you for giving me this unique opportunity, which, of course, only has a positive impact on my professional and personal future.

What are your main expectations regarding your participation in this training course? How do you envisage to incorporate what you have learnt during the TC in your work?

 I and my colleagues implement the project "The Youth Voice". Project will solve next issues: adaptation of youth from conflict region (without parental support (perished, live in occupation territory or serve in the Ukrainian army) to new living conduction; motivation to look for future prospects; formation of the ability to build their own future. With the help of this training course, I would like to exchange ideas with participants, expand my knowledge and find partners for the further implementation of the project in the field of working with youth from conflict regions. I would like to implement my new knowledge and skills in my courses and lectures.

Do you have any experience in similar project?

Recently I took part in an Erasmus+ project mobility of youth workers. It called "Informal learning - Expanding the horizon for future generation”. The host organization - European Association for Audiovisual Communications. It was in Sofia. Another project was in Spain it was called Youth Re-Action- Developing Media Literacy, organized by "Pulpo de 5 Patas".

What's your motivation in taking part to this TC (Training Course)?

I had a teaching experience at school, also lectured at various organizations. I realized how important non-formal education methods are.  In the international projects I realized how cool it is, as well as how well the historical knowledge is suitable for these methods. Now I continue to introduce this knowledge into our educational projects. However, often you forget why it all started. This program is for me an opportunity to find inspiration for teaching. Get new knowledge and skills, prove to yourself that what I study really does make sense and can help people. Now, the most important project for me is to create a real educational platform for such people as me - ambitious, willing to develop constantly, but who do not know how to realize their abilities. I am currently studying the experience of American business schools, where they teach management based on specific historical battles. This is a perfect example of how to apply unusual historical knowledge. And I want to do something similar.

What are your main expectations regarding your participation in this training course? How do you envisage to incorporate what you have learnt during the TC in your work?

I hope to learn new methods of non-formal education, as well as teaching methods, and to get new experience in working with young people. But the most important thing is to find inspiration working in an intercultural environment. Also interesting for me is the topic of entrepreneurship. I read a lot about it, but I would like to learn how it can be taught to others and constantly improve.

Please describe your knowledge and experience on entrepreneurship.

I have no enterpreneurship experience, but I would like to engage in educational projects that can be profitable, as well as publishing. At the moment, I am studying these topics and want to implement my projects. I read a lot about it, but unfortunately I do not have enough practical knowledge. This is one of the reasons why I decided to become a member of this project.
